I am Bijesh Krishnadas. I have over 8 years of hands-on experience with Java,  J2EE and Web Services. I am currently contracting with an IT consulting company based out of Melbourne on an enterprise portal project using Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g.

Prior to this I worked in product development for Software A.G, India specifically on the Web Services/XML and JMS components of the webMethods Integration Server product. I helped the team roll out the Kanban (Agile) methodology for the Sustaining project.

I spent about 6 years working for Oracle’s consulting/services arm in India moving up to a Principal Consultant role in record time. While at Oracle, I have had the opportunity to work with entire J2EE technology stack that Oracle produced including UIX, incremental versions of ADF, Oracle Applications Framework, Oracle Toplink, Oracle BPEL, etc. I have experience in all the different phases of a consulting project – starting from presales (bids, estimates, demos, technology recommendations) to design, development and production support.

I have always proven my capabilities and adaptability in every new project or technology. I have managed to learn and assimilate many new technologies and continuously shared these with other team members through demos and presentations. I enjoy cracking technical hitches and more often than not I can be found wading through decompiled java code to find workarounds and bugs (you may see examples of this on my blog as well). I love to be hands-on with technology and intend to move towards an architectural role.

Nothing motivates me better than a technical challenge. More than awards and recognitions, it is the self-satisfaction of a job well done that inspires me. My ambitions are simple. On the professional front it is to move towards an architectural or technical evangelist role and stick around with technology for as long as I can. At some point, I would love to jump into a completely different technology bandwagon and work my way up.
